The WOHS Varsity Cheer Fundraising group was originally established in 2013 by a group of cheer parents whom had a goal to assist the Varsity Cheerleaders in raising funds for their 2013/2014 cheer season. In the Spring of 2013, the Varsity Cheerleaders received an invite to a cheer camp that offered a once in a lifetime opportunity at the end of the camp...to perform as part of the halftime show at the Gator Bowl held in Jacksonville, Florida on New Years Day 2014! With a summer filled with non stop fundraising and the generous support of the community & local businesses, the funds needed to attend the camp, were successfully raised! Upon returning from an awesome time at the cheer camp & Gator Bowl, a decision was made to keep the WOHS Varsity Cheer Fundraising group going for years to come. It is the continued goal to raise monies to help off set the costs incured during cheer season, such as competition fees, choreography & cheer camp registration fees and cheer attire/uniforms to name a few. Your kind donation and support means the world to the WOHS Varsity Cheerleaders, as your donations will get these girls that much closer to their cheer fundraising goals!
